Memoir
How it works

Three steps from voice to volume

No writing, no typing, no blank page. You talk; Memoir does the rest.

01

Speak

Record a memory whenever it surfaces. Memory isn't linear — begin anywhere, in any order, for as long as you like.

02

We listen

Memoir transcribes every session, then organizes and harmonizes your stories into chapters — keeping the way you actually tell them.

03

Hold your book

Receive a fifty to one hundred page memoir, structured and edited. Export to EPUB, PDF, or DOCX — and keep it for good.

Why voice

What you say carries what you'd never type

A blank document asks you to perform. A microphone only asks you to remember.

Memory is spoken

We remember in stories, not sentences. Speaking unlocks the detail that typing quietly edits away.

Your cadence is the style

Memoir keeps your turns of phrase and your rhythm, so the book reads like you — not like a template.

Nothing is lost

Asides, hesitations, the order you remember things in — all of it becomes material, and then a chapter.

A page from your book

This is what your voice becomes

Set in the same warm, readable typography as a printed memoir — ready to export the day you finish.

Chapter One

The House on Obolon

The kitchen was the warmest room in the apartment, and not only because of the stove. My grandmother kept the radio low all day, tuned to a station that played the old songs, and she would hum along without ever seeming to notice she was doing it. I learned the words before I understood them.

Questions

Before you begin

What language will my book be in?

Your book is written in the language you speak. Memoir supports fifty and more languages, and never translates you into a neutral voice.

Is my story private?

Yes. Your recordings and your book are private and ad-free, and your words are never used to train AI models. The book belongs to you.

How long is a finished memoir?

Most books run fifty to one hundred pages — roughly twenty-five to fifty thousand words — and grow with how much you record.

What if I can't speak out loud?

Every paid plan supports text input, so you can write your sessions instead of recording them. The result is the same book.

Which formats can I export?

EPUB, PDF, and DOCX — so you can read it, print it, or hand it to a publisher.

Do I keep my book?

Always. Your memoir is yours to keep, export, and revisit for good.
